After losing Mykhaylo to Chelsea, Arsenal now want Raphinha

Premier League

It appears like Mykhaylo Mudryk will join Chelsea. As a result, Arsenal’s top candidates to bolster their assault have been forced to go elsewhere and, according to the “London Evening Standard,” have given Barcelona winger Raphinha some thought.

The team playing at Emirates Stadium is looking for more players. Mikel Arteta wants to bring in a winger to aid the club up front, and up until recently, Mudryk from Shakhtar was his top choice.

The Gunners’ target is ready to permanently shut the door, which is the problem. According to the most recent reports, Chelsea and Mudryk have a contract. The club is looking for alternatives because of this.

According to the “London Evening Standard,” Arsenal has discovered another winger at Barca who they like. They attempted to sign Raphinha in the summer of 2022, but he ultimately signed with the “Cules,” eluding them at the time.

According to the aforementioned media, Raphinha’s agent Deco has been contacted by the Gunners’ sporting director, Edu Gaspar, to inquire about his interest in joining the Premier League.

Arsenal has merely enquired about Raphinha’s position so far. FC Barcelona has not made a specific proposition that is on the table. Raphinha is already being courted by Edu Gaspar, who really loves him.

The winger cost Barca 58 million euros plus seven million euros in variable payments, a sum that the Catalan powerhouses would like to recuperate if he were to be sold. Given that he has only made 22 appearances, including 12 as a starter, the player may have anticipated playing a bigger role in Xavi’s team. Arsenal could use this as leverage to try to persuade the player.
