Mykhailo Mudryk of Shakhtar Donetsk has received Arsenal’s first official bid, although the Ukrainian club is holding out for a three-figure transfer fee.
Arsenal has reportedly made a proposal for the Ukrainian winger that will cost up to €62 million, according to several reports.
However, Shakhtar has stated that they will reject the offer and value Mudryk at €100 million.

However, talks will go on, and Shakhtar is anticipated to drop their demands.
Arsenal is committed to closing the Mudryk deal after designating him as their top transfer target in January.
The 21-year-old, who made his debut this year, is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young wingers.
In the last days of the summer transfer window, he was extensively linked to Arsenal, but the transfer ultimately fell through and they are again on the bid for him.

Fans have dubbed the teenage wide receiver “the Ukrainian Neymar” and he has been continuously courting Arsenal since the summer.
Liverpool was also interested in Mudryk, but the Anfield club has since signed Cody Gakpo from PSV.
Shakhtar boss on Mudryk?
Darijo Srna, the sporting director at Shakhtar, recently ranked Mudryk as the third-best player in Europe for his position.
A serious talent, Mudryk. He is the finest player in Europe at his position behind Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. If someone wants to purchase Mudryk, they must pay a tremendous amount of money and show respect for our club and president, according to Srna.

Mudryk has been in excellent form for Shakhtar this season, contributing 10 assists and eight goals over 18 games.
Arsenal hopes that Mudryk will increase their likelihood of winning the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
Following their 3-1 victory over West Ham on Monday, the Gunners now lead the league by seven points.
