Mykhailo Mudryk of Shakhtar Donetsk has received Arsenal’s first official bid, although the Ukrainian club is holding out for a three-figure transfer fee.
Arsenal has reportedly made a proposal for the Ukrainian winger that will cost up to €62 million, according to several reports.
However, Shakhtar has stated that they will reject the offer and value Mudryk at €100 million.
However, talks will go on, and Shakhtar is anticipated to drop their demands.
Arsenal is committed to closing the Mudryk deal after designating him as their top transfer target in January.
The 21-year-old, who made his debut this year, is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young wingers.
In the last days of the summer transfer window, he was extensively linked to Arsenal, but the transfer ultimately fell through and they are again on the bid for him.

Liverpool was also interested in Mudryk, but the Anfield club has since signed Cody Gakpo from PSV.
