Christian Eriksen, who suffered a heart attack during the Euro Cup 2020, has returned to the national team. Denmark have announced a friendly team, including Eriksen, who has just started playing football after a heart attack.

Eriksen suffered a heart attack in the first half of last year’s Euro Cup match against Finland. Inter Milan have terminated their contract with Eriksen after a player with a heart attack was barred from playing in Italy.

He signed for Premier League club Brentford in January, eight months after suffering a heart attack. He resumed active football on February 26 against Newcastle.

Coach Kaspet Hjulmand has announced 23 members, including Eriksen, for two friendly matches against the Netherlands and Serbia. Denmark will play friendly matches against Netherlands in Amsterdam on March 26 and Serbia on March 29.
