The board of Eintracht Frankfurt revealed their first addition for the next campaign via a message on social media. The most recent Europa League winners moved swiftly to accept William Pacho.
The 21-year-old defender from Ecuador, who is coming off a successful season with Belgian club Royal Antwerp, was signed by the German club after they outbid several other elite clubs for his services.

Eintracht posted a statement and a photo of the player posing while wearing his Frankfurt jersey on its Twitter account. “The 21-year-old defender will join the club on 1st July 2023 and will sign a contract until 2028,” the statement read.
Pacho made a total of 33 games for Royal Antwerp in the 2022–23 season, when he established himself as an important member of the defense. Although several clubs expressed interest as a result of his good performances, his career will ultimately continue in the Bundesliga.
It’s important to note that the young defender has begun to get experience with the Ecuadorian national squad as well.
Without saying more, he was a member of the group that represented South America in the most recent World Cup, which was held in Qatar in 2022.
