Tottenham right defender Emerson Royal needs surgery for a knee injury he sustained while serving with Brazil overseas.
He was hurt in stoppage time of Saturday’s 2-1 friendly loss to Morocco for Brazil.
Tottenham thinks the 24-year-old will be able to play again before the Premier League season is over.
For Spurs this season, Emerson has made 32 appearances and scored twice in all competitions.
In August 2021, he moved from Barcelona to the North London club.
Tottenham is currently fourth in the Premier League, but after parting ways with Antonio Conte on Sunday, they are looking for a new manager.
