Following the confirmation of their red card punishments, Ferran Torres and Stefan Savic will miss Barcelona‘s and Atletico Madrid‘s next two games.
Near the halfway point, the two were fighting over the ball when their altercation devolved into a wrestling match on the ground. Straight red cards were issued to Savic and Torres.

Unless the committee had deemed it an aggression/assault, the ban was expected to be between two and three games, but both have received the minimum.
Torres and Robert Lewandowski won’t be playing for Barcelona in their league games against Girona and Getafe. There will only be four forwards available for those games, with Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati, Raphinha, Ousmane Dembele, vying for playing time.
Savic will be absent for Diego Simeone‘s matches against Real Valladolid and Almeria, respectively. Simeone might bring Reinildo Mandava inside to accompany Jose Maria Gimenez, depending on the strategy he chooses.
