Kathmandu: FIFA has expelled Russia from the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar.
FIFA on Tuesday confirmed that Russia had been eliminated.
Russia was scheduled to play Poland on March 29 in the play-offs.
However, FIFA has bypassed Poland and made it to the play-off finals.
Poland will now play the winner between Sweden and the Czech Republic.
After Russia invaded Ukraine, FIFA removed Russia from the selection.
FIFA has previously banned Russia indefinitely.
