Zurich: FIFA has unveiled various short-term plans to make it easier for players and coaches in Ukraine and Russia to move from there.
Russia has pulled out of the World Cup after launching an attack on Ukraine.
FIFA has already banned the Russian national team as well as clubs there. Russia, which is preparing to play in the 2022 World Cup playoffs in Qatar this month, has been angered by FIFA’s move. Russia has said it will appeal.
FIFA has suspended foreign players and coaches in Ukraine and Russia for up to 30 June, saying it would be easier for them to leave from there.
Roberto de Zerbi, the coach of Sakhtar Donetsk, as well as other Brazilian players from his team are about to leave the club.
