Granit Xhaka’s health is a concern for Arsenal ahead of Wednesday’s pivotal trip to Manchester City.
Due to illness, midfielder Xhaka missed Friday’s 3-3 tie with Southampton.
Mikel Arteta, the manager, is optimistic that the Switzerland star will return to practice on Tuesday, although Xhaka is still questionable for the City match.

Although City has two games in hand, the Gunners lead the Premier League standings by five points.
The absence of defender William Saliba has coincided with Arsenal’s winless recent three games in which they have allowed seven goals.

The Frenchman will miss the match against City, and Arteta was unable to provide details about the center-back’s return to action during a press conference on Tuesday.
