Real Madrid is dealing with injury concerns ahead of a pivotal few weeks in their season. Luka Modric and Federico Valverde have just joined David Alaba and Ferland Mendy in leaving the team.

The matches against Osasuna and Manchester City in the upcoming week will determine whether they are all available, but the latter appear to have their own injury concerns.

Guardiola is nervous ahead of Arsenal clash

Kevin De Bruyne’s injury was first reported on Sunday, and Pep Guardiola spoke on Tuesday (via Diario AS) to provide an update on the midfielder’s and defender Nathan Ake’s health.

“Nathan (Ake) felt excellent after training with us yesterday. Although he has begun to move, Kevin (de Bruyne) has not participated in team training. We’ll see after training, which is in a few hours.

Guardiola: Liverpool can defeat anyone

De Bruyne has been in outstanding form for Man City lately, so the defending champions would benefit greatly if he weren’t available for their Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid.
