Coming off the bench to score the game-winning goal for Manchester United against Wolves on Saturday, Marcus Rashford shone.
Rashford was benched by Erik ten Hag despite his outstanding performance against Nottingham Forest for the Premier League match at Molineux.
He was removed from the starting lineup due to “internal disciplinary” issues, but he returned to the action after halftime with the score still blank.
And he didn’t let us down, either, as he and Bruno Fernandes skillfully combined to score a fantastic goal in the 76th minute.

Rashford took possession of the ball on the left wing and surged into Wolves‘ defensive line. With Fernandes, he pulled off a masterful one-two, piercing a lovely into his path.
The England international then displayed his strength before scoring with a beautiful right-footed finish.
Before the game began, Ten Hag gave an explanation of his choice to bench Rashford.
He said: “Internal disciplinary. No details. Our rules. Now focus on the game. He is in very good form and no-one can play all the games.”
With 32 points after the match, the 1-0 victory puts Man United back in the top four.

Rashford, on the other hand, has now tallied 11 goals this season in 22 outings across all competitions.
Having only scored five goals the previous season, he is currently having a productive term.
