Paris: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Neymar has responded to former colleague Thomas Meunier’s comments on his ability as ridiculous.
Neymar and Meunier played three seasons in PSG. Meunier went from PSG to the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
Meunier said on Tuesday that Neymar has lost his natural rhythm.
“I am a big supporter of Neymar, not only since he came to PSG, but since he was in Barcelona”, Meunier said, “but in my opinion, he has lost his natural rhythm now.”
Neymar came to PSG from Barcelona for five years in August 2017 for a world record 222 million pounds.
Neymar has played 144 games for PSG. He has already won 11 PSG titles.
Through social networks, Neymar responded that Meunier’s comments were ridiculous. “This guy talks a lot”, Neymar posted.
Neymar has scored 100 goals in all competitions for PSG. Neymar, who scored 19 goals in his first season at PSG, could not increase his goal number to 15 in each subsequent season.
