Neymar, the forward of French club Paris Saint Germain (PSG), is set to be prosecuted for corruption.
The Brazilian forward is set to be prosecuted for corruption during his contract with the Spanish club Barcelona.
30-year-old Neymar was signed by Barcelona in 2013 from the Brazilian club Santos.

The case against Neymar will be registered in a court in Barcelona on October 17. The case will be registered one month before the start of the World Cup in Qatar.
A lawsuit will be filed against Neymar demanding a 2-year prison sentence and a fine of 8.4 million pounds.
Along with Neymar, two former presidents of Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell, will also be charged.
After the complaint filed seven years ago by DIS, a Brazilian company focused on the football market, the case against Neymar is being prepared.
DIS has been saying that it has the right to 40 percent of the fee when Neymar is transferred. DIS has accused of cheating Neymar, his family and Barcelona.
Neymar came to PSG in 2017.
