Rafa Benitez is one step away from Leicester

Premier League

Leicester is having one of its worst seasons ever in the Premier League, and the team might be about to lose its place in the top division. The Fozes are currently desperately looking for a replacement after Brendan Rodgers quit.

Rafa Benitez, who has experience managing in the English league, could relocate there to take charge of a team that is currently without a manager, according to “AS.”

The 2021 FA Cup champions are one point behind Leeds, who have 26 points, and are therefore safe, despite having just seven victories in the league.

The former Real Madrid and Liverpool manager consistently chose to wait for a better offer after receiving an endless number of job offers from Spain, the Premier League, and a handful from Asian national teams.

After Mikel Arteta, Ruben Selles, Unai Emery, Julen Lopetegui, Pep Guardiola, and Javi Gracia, Benitez would be the eighth Spanish coach in the league if he were to be named Leicester’s new manager.
