La Liga

Raphinha, a striker for Barcelona, relished his time off following the World Cup in Qatar. However, the Brazilian player encountered difficulties because his wife was pregnant before he got to Barcelona.

Two more athletes were available for coach Xavi Hernandez to train with on Wednesday at the Joan Gamper training facility. Raphinha and Memphis Depay returned to the team prior to the start of La Liga. The Brazilian player, however, had a somewhat unpleasant experience before to landing in Barcelona.

What started out as a brief stopover in Lisbon quickly developed into a three-hour ordeal that the striker described as “torture.”

“I want to express my gratitude to TAP for keeping us on the aircraft for so long. They now inform us that we will remain on the aircraft for an additional hour without being able to eject, making the total time spent at a standstill on the aircraft two hours.

The Barca midfielder posted on his social media that “a lot of people stopped by and didn’t get lunch, I’m one of those individuals, and they stated they’re not going to give food or anything.”
