Ciro Immobile has become the all-time leading scorer in Italian Serie A for Lazio.
Immobile broke Silvio Piola’s record with 144th league goal. He has played two hundred and one games from Lazio. His goal was decisive in Monday night’s 1-0 win over Venezia in Serie A.
Piola set a record by scoring 143 goals in 227 games for Lazio from 1934 to 1943.
Immobile entered Lazio in 2016 after playing for Juventus, Genoa, Torino, Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.
He has scored 21 goals in 24 games this season. He scored 20 goals last season. He scored 36 goals in 37 games for the 2019-20 season.
