It was a very moving moment when Lionel Messi lifted the World Cup while donning a black robe.
The World Cup final between Argentina and France, which took place in Qatar’s Lusail Stadium, is often regarded as the best of all time.
As France played below par, Messi and Angel di Maria gave the South American champs a 2-0 halftime lead.
Both teams had opportunities in the second half, but Kylian Mbappe’s penalty conversion in the 80th minute allowed his club to tie the score. A minute later, Mbappe’s brilliant equalizer for France turned the game on its head.
Messi scored in the 108th minute of extra time, but he was again held back by Mbappe’s late penalty goal to complete his hat trick. The Frenchman is the first player to score three goals in a World Cup final since Sir Geoff Hurst.
However, Messi was victorious as Argentina defeated France 4-2 in the shootout.
The entire globe watched in awe as Messi raised the golden trophy during the prize presentation.
However, many supporters believed Messi having to don a black cloak in order to carry the trophy partially detracted from the event.
But the gesture’s real significance made it clear that a momentous moment had actually occurred.
Tallie Dar, a content creator, stated on Twitter that Messi’s black cloak is known as a “Beshth.” After a win, Arabian warriors would put it on.
Additionally, the royal family wears it. Messi was honored by the king of Qatar out of respect. describing Messi as a fighter who triumphed for Argentina.
“Messi is being honored as royalty in his Argentine jersey, as the King of Football,” Dar said.
It has poetry. Haters won’t ever have big minds, so I don’t expect them to understand.
After experiencing disappointment in the 2014 World Cup final, Messi is now at last a World Cup victor.
