Following boos heard around Stamford Bridge during Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Manchester City, Thiago Silva’s wife has called out Chelsea supporters in yet another contentious social media post.
While Thiago Silva’s wife Belle da Silva observed from what seemed to be a box at Stamford Bridge, the 38-year-old Brazilian center defender made his debut.
While the bulk of the supporters remained silent around her, Thiago Silva’s wife expressed her displeasure at the jeers by starting a chorus of “Come on Chelsea.”
On social media, she posted a video of herself with the caption:
‘Don’t come to Stamford Bridge if you’re not singing COME ON CHELSEA !!! #blueisthecolour @ChelseaFC @tsilva3’.
After winning just one of their previous eight games, her husband’s team is currently tenth in the Premier League, ten points outside the top four.
Silva’s wife has already made news for her outrageous criticism of Chelsea.
In August, following the Blues’ 2-2 draw with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge, she tweeted:
‘Today I went to Stamford Bridge, and I noticed that the photos changed around the stadium. But I don’t see a photo of @tsilva3 anywhere. Why @ChelseaFC?’
While everything was going on, Belle defended her husband in April of last year after alleging that he had been criticized for “not attacking sufficiently” after a 4-1 loss to Brentford at home.
So, show him respect; he is not a machine. Ok, he needs to unwind.
These remarks followed her criticism of former Chelsea striker Timo Werner for a run of missed opportunities and her celebration of Tottenham’s victory on the final day of the previous campaign, which led to Chelsea’s automatic qualification for the Champions League.
