Many different emotions and recollections have been expressed in response to Pelé‘s departure from all around the world, but probably the most moving of them all was Pelé and the late Diego Maradona playing a game of keepy-uppy.
The incident happened in 2005 at the premiere of the Diego Maradona-hosted program “La Noche del 10.” The presentation, which broadcast on August 15 and included Pelé as the special guest, put an end to the “feud” between the two legends that FIFA had started after failing to decide who was the greatest player of all time in a poll conducted years earlier.

One of the show’s high points occurred when the two legends began to play with a ball, passing it to one another with their heads. Ultimately, Pelé “won” the match after Maradona was unable to continue the run of passes.
